pmiRScan

A human pre-miRNA predictor

pmiRScan server allows user to predict given nucleotide sequence as, human pre-miRNA sequence. It uses Light-GBM based model developed with calculation of sequence and secondary structure features of RNA.

What is "pmiRScan"? [Go to application]

pmiRScan-Manual

  1. Either type or paste the input RNA sequence(s) in FASTA format or upload a FASTA file using the Browse button.
  2. Note1 : The input should be a RNA sequence(s) with standard nucleotides (A, U, G, or C). The input can be single line sequence(s) or a single-line description followed by line of sequence.

Note2 : The submitted sequences or the fasta file should not contain any empty lines. The sequence length cannot exceed 500 nucleotides.

  3. Click on the submit button to run the prediction. The webserver uses Light-GBM model for prediction, once the user submits the query sequence(s).

  4. On submitting the query sequence(s), the output of prediction result is displayed on the screen, containing the sequence ID and its corresponding prediction. Optionally, user can download the prediction results by clicking on the Download here link.

  5. The Test Run button allows user to check an example (test case) input sequence and the corresponding prediction results.
